PLOT
It’s been humbling seeing the impact designers can have on social health during the course of the year. We all witnessed an impact instigated by design on all scales. The bench, the street, and everything in between. For that, PLOT comes in timely. The articles were mostly submitted before the pandemic ensued, but the team is committed to print. It’s been increasingly more difficult to locate where architecture falls, which is why the theme was meant to be a vast umbrella for the many things we associate with architecture. However, architecture is centuries old, and the years have stretched it into malleability. I choose to view it as welcoming, vast and accepting in its themes, and hopefully the issue reflects that. Many thanks are extended to our contributors who have agreed to explore this theme with us and then proceeded to wait for this issue.
